Chippenham Community Hub

Chippenham Community Hub The Hub is by the community for the community. Finding solutions. We offer support, drop in advice, social inclusion for loneliness and educational courses too.

We provide primarily signposting to resolve any problems whereby people need to know who to speak with to resolve their issue. As a Hub we provide facilities for Non-profit Organisations to attend for recreational and wellbeing. We have Chippenham organisations attending weekly like Chippenham Knatty Knitters to give social aspects to the Community. We run courses from the Hub in Employability ski

lls, Basic IT and Personal Finance. We have more coming in the New Year. We work with over 50 organisations we work with and some of these organisations set up regularly in the Hub for contact. We work with Rethink Mental Health, Swan Advocacy, Read-Easy, Fraud Prevention and Wiltshire Sight. We are here to support and operate for the public benefit, help deal with poverty and aid social inclusion. Please pop in for a chat and more information.

How time flies - exactly a year ago today we closed the Hub in Borough Parade to move to our fantastic new home in Timber Street and in a couple of weeks time we will be celebrating four - Yes four years since we officially opened!
I think this deserves a real celebration on Wednesday 23rd July but what shall we do?
Post a suggestion here or pop one into our email box and you will be put into a prize draw. (Please be kind and make it something we can realistically do xx)

Lovely atmosphere at the Chippenham Community Hub’s VE Day event yesterday. Great to pop in to see everyone enjoying themselves - & join in a little sing song! 🎶

Well done to the trustees, staff, and volunteers who helped to make this special event such a success! 🇬🇧🎉

⭐️ Changing Lives in Chippenham ⭐️

A recent grant from us helped a local resident feel independent again, with a new ramp making it possible to leave their home safely. “Without their help I would still be in my home relying on others,” they shared with us. “Now I’m able to get out of the house to get shopping etc.”

This is just one of the many small but life-changing ways our grants support people across Chippenham.

If you’re a Chippenham resident struggling with essential costs or facing challenges at home, we’re here to help.

Every Wednesday from 10am–2.30pm, our Grant Managers are available at the Chippenham Community Hub for friendly, confidential advice about applying for a grant - no appointment needed.

Find out more about our Grants for Individuals, check your eligibility and apply on our website (link in comments below).
