We are looking enthusiastic and motivated experienced Carers to join our home care team to deliver outstanding care to clients in their own homes.

This Carer role is based around the Chippenham area, covering Calne, Corsham, Melksham and Malmesbury.

Shifts: Various shifts and hours are available for Care Assistant roles, including full time, part time and Sleep ins
Immediate start is available upon successful selection.

Responsibilities for the successful Care Assistant:
• To provide care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the direction of the Registered Manager.
• Assisting with all elements of personal care, to ensure clients are supported in being as independent as possible in preparation for their day ahead.
• To support and enable Clients to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person-centred care unique to each individual.
• Assisting clients with getting washed and dressed, preparing meals, prompting and assistance with taking medication.
• Light household tasks.
• Offering companionship and helping build clients confidence and independence.

To be a successful Care Assistant you will need:
• To be caring, compassionate & empathetic. We provide the support and training to help you focus on building relationships with your clients, their families and your colleagues.
• To be skilled in communicating, establishing and maintaining good relationships with clients and their families on the caseload and work effectively within the GoodKnight Home Care Team.
• Experience of working in a care as a Care Assistant/Carer.
• A full driving licence and access to a car.
The successful Care Assistant will receive:
• Excellent rates of pay with starter salary rates £10.50 - £21.00 an hour
• Paid mileage 30p a mile
• Excellent training programmes for all Carers
• 28 days paid holiday including Bank holidays
• Support to work towards and achieve Diplomas and further care qualifications
• Access to support and counselling
• Out of hours clinical support
