Shetland pony delights residents at Chippenham care home during summer of smiles

Residents at HC-One’s Avon Court Care Home in Chippenham, Wiltshire, were all smiles this week as they welcomed a special guest in the form of a Shetland pony called Vino, for a heartwarming visit that brought joy, laughter, and a touch of magic to their day.

🐴✨ A Very Special Day at Avon Court! ✨🐴

Yesterday we launched our brand new Nourish system, designed to enhance the care we provide every day — but the real star of the show was Vino the miniature horse!

Vino trotted through our home, bringing joy to both communal areas and residents’ rooms. The smiles, laughter, and gentle cuddles were truly heart warming. 🥰🐎

It was a beautiful reminder of how small moments can make a big difference. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special — especially Vino! 💐

🎉 Open Day Fun at Avon Court! 🎶💃

We had a wonderful Open Day filled with singing, dancing, laughter, and lots of fun! Residents, families, staff, and visitors all joined in to make it a truly joyful occasion.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped create such a warm, lively atmosphere — we loved seeing so many happy faces! 💛
