Helping Loved Ones Through a Lonely Christmas 🎄

Signs a loved one might need help:
✔ Letting their routine slide (getting up much later than usual)
✔ Caring less about appearance or hygiene
✔ Not eating properly
✔ Being negative about themselves
✔ Withdrawing from things they used to enjoy

What can you do?
💬 Encourage them to talk about how they’re feeling, whether to you, a healthcare professional, or a trusted organisation.
🚶‍♀️ Suggest a walk or start the conversation gently over the phone or text.
🤝 If they’re not ready to talk, let them know you’re there when they need you.

If they don’t want to talk:
✅ Make plans together: lunch, a walk, or a new activity.
✅ Reassure them that things can improve with the right support.
✅ Help them connect with services or social groups.

Loneliness is hard, but small gestures can make a big difference. 💚💜

✅ Pay: £14.50 – £15.20 per hour
✅ Shifts: 07:00–14:30 & 16:00–22:00
✅ Contract: Full-time / Part-time
✅ Mileage: Paid at 45p per mile
