The aim of a naturopathic lifestyle is to prevent disease from happening, rather than having to cure disease with prescription medicines. However, current ill health can be reversed and cured with the right nutritional intake and the elimination of unhealthy lifestyle choices that block the body's natural healing abilities.

What are Naturopathic Principles?

This is an approach to nutrition that acknowledges every person as being individual, and hence requires a personalised nutritional approach to health. There is no "one size fits all" approach to healing the body, as everyone is very different.
The focuses of this lifestyle include the use of whole and organic food as medicine. Including the importance of detoxification and cleansing, and also looks at a person's constitution.
A person's constitution can be defined as "a person's physical state regarding vitality, health, and strength". Taking into consideration pregnancy, current illnesses, energy levels (fatigue) etc.
Working with the body rather than against the body's natural healing abilities, to heal and cure diseases.
