Today we mark Young Carers Action Day 💙 - a time to recognise the vital role young carers play within our families and communities.

A young carer is someone aged 18 and under, while young adult carers are aged up to 25. Many take on significant responsibilities at home, often balancing caring duties with school, work, and the everyday challenges of growing up. For some, this can mean added stress, less social time, and missed opportunities.

At Right at Home Central Wiltshire, we believe family carers, including young carers, deserve recognition, understanding, and support. Respite care can provide families with valuable time to rest and recharge, helping to protect their wellbeing while ensuring their loved one continues to receive high-quality care.

When we support carers, we strengthen the whole family 🤝.

💃✨ 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 & 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦! ✨💃

Last week, we had a fantastic time at the Inclusive Intergenerational Dance – Creative Lunch in Corsham, and what a brilliant turnout it was! 💙

The room was filled with laughter, music, and joyful movement as people of different generations came together to enjoy dancing, conversation, and a lovely lunch. It was truly heart-warming to see everyone getting involved, sharing smiles, and having so much fun together. 🥰

Events like this are such a wonderful way to 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱.

At Right at Home Chippenham we provide person centred support to adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and the mobility restrictions. Our services are highly personalised, yet flexible to meet the needs, choices and outcomes of the people we support, which are build into our personal care plans.

We provide support on a short-term basis ranging from an hourly daily visit through to 24 hour support, seven days a week. Our support focuses on helping clients to meet their personal goals & we take great pride in continually developing our team of amazing Carers.
