Hello everyone👋🏻 Please bare with me as this is quite a long but IMPORTANT read.
As some of you may have realized, I have not yet reopened my diary for appointments - for those of you who have messaged me regarding a waiting list, you will already know why.
COVID and lockdown was a really tough time for everyone, and I cannot wait to reopen my treatment room to you all. For personal reasons, I have decided that for the meantime I will remain closed, until I feel that it is completely safe on mine and my close family’s behalf. Whilst beauty is my passion and I love my career, I love my family more than anything and they will always be my number one priority.
Another reason I have not reopened my diary is that I have my FIRST HOME🏡💖 Myself and my partner are so proud of our house, and moving in was a huge silver lining of Lockdown which gave us something to look forward to despite all of the uncertainty in the world. That means that I have a whole new treatment room to decorate and I cannot wait for you all to see it very soon!
Lastly, I would like to send my love to all of my friends and other therapists who have been affected financially, mentally, and emotionally by recent government guidelines. The beauty industry has been overlooked and ultimately let down by our government in recent weeks, and myself and other beauty therapists are angry, confused, hurt and disappointed by the lack of compassion we have been shown. We deserve better and we deserve more. With that said, we all keep our heads high and a smile on our face like we always do. It makes me proud to be ‘just a Beauty Therapist’ when you see how the industry supports each other and how resilient we all are.
