We're delighted to host our first monthly Carers' Coffee Afternoon of 2026 in partnership with Carer Support Wiltshire.

All carers are welcome to enjoy a warm, welcoming space where they can take a break and relax with good company, coffee and cake.

Your cared-for (aged 18+) is more than welcome too. Our lovely team will host activities for them in a separate room, so you can unwind knowing they’re happy and supported. (Please note: personal care isn’t provided during the event.)

Come for a chat, connect with others who understand, and take a little time for you.

Carers and cared for are invited to this peer support group. Fairways Care Home will be providing activities for the cared for person, while carers are invited to relax, chat and connect with other carers.

Terry entertaining our residents and their families

On Friday we held our first every Christmas Light switch on for our residents and their families, it was a huge success. We were entertained by one of our residents Terry who played Christmas songs on his guitar, which everyone joined in with.
We would like to thank Terry for adding an extra sparkle to the event.
We would also like to thank Adam Summers and Vinnie for all their hard work to make this happen.

We're all set up and ready to go at Melksham Assembly Rooms. If you're looking for somewhere to go today, the indoor Christmas market is open from 2 pm. We have handmade roses, homemade dog treats, and our ever popular mystery tombola. Everything is at very reasonable prices, and the profits go to enriching the lives of our wonderful residents. We would love to see as many people there as possible.

Pictures from Saturday as promised and an update on our Christmas Fayre.
We have raised £740 so far with a few more things happening that will bring in even more money. On Saturday the 6th of December we will be having a stall at Melksham Christmas Light switch on. We will have our famous mystery tombola as well as lots of reasonable priced items that would make great Christmas gifts. Why not pop along and say hello we will be very happy to see you .
We still have our guess the weight of the cake competition that will continue until 12th of December when we will be having our first ever Fairways Christmas Light switch on in our beautiful courtyard garden.
