OVERCOMING THE PATTERNS THAT KEEP US STUCK
If you read my last post, you know I uncovered a whole tangle of fear-based patterns - the ones that drain our energy, shake our confidence, and keep us circling instead of moving. 💛
Here's how I'm gently loosening my grip on each one... and how you can too. 💛
✨Overthinking - Shrinking the moment.
When my mind wants to obsess over the end result, I bring myself back to the smallest doable action. Big visions are beautiful - but they're built one small step at a time.
✨Procrastinating - Making the first step gentle.
Instead of waiting for the perfect clinic, I'm lowering the bar intentionally. One social media post, one new wellness package, one online offering. Once the resistance melts momentum takes care of the rest.
✨Self-Doubt - Remembering my why.
When the "What if they don't like it?" voice gets loud, I remind myself I can't fix everyone and not everyone wants to be fixed, however many out there needs what I have and as long as I show up as my authentic, passionate self with a huge desire to help that is enough.
✨Perfectionism - Releasing the performance.
I'm practicing showing up as I am, not as the curated version of me (Disclaimer - I really struggle with this). People connect to humanity, not flawless ex*****on. Good enough is more than enough. Imperfect action builds momentum, and momentum builds confidence.
✨ Distraction - Reclaiming my attention.
My mind isn't "weak" for getting pulled into the scroll, its often overstimulated. I'm creating intentional pauses, phone free moments, and breathing room for my nervous system.
✨ Hyper-Focus - Staying connected to my body.
When I locked into tunnel vision, I'm learning to pause, stretch, drink water and breathe. Progress should uplift, not consume. Consistency beats intensity every time. I can move towards my dreams with burning myself out in the process.
If you recognise yourself in any of these - you're doing just fine.
Awareness is the first step.
Compassion is the second.
Everything else unfolds with time.
Which of these patterns are you working on right now? 💛
Much love. Jodie x
