Picnic Day was a hit this morning! We soaked up the sunshine in the courtyard with sweet treats and plenty of laughs, thanks to our Baby Behind The Badge board. Residents put their detective hats on to match staff members with their adorable baby photos — some guesses were spot on, others… not so much! 👶😂 A big well done to Lilian who managed to get 5/10 correct!

Huge congratulations to our amazing Activities & Well-being Coordinator, Lilly, and her step mum April, who completed an incredible 13-mile walk through Cheltenham for Trek13 in support of the Alzheimer’s Society. They raised an impressive £732 and finished in just 5 hours and 24 minutes!🫂☺️

Recently, two of our wonderful gentlemen, Charlie and John, enjoyed a fantastic afternoon at Charlbury Bowls Club’s Dementia Bowls session.

Charlie, a lifelong member of the club who even helped build it many years ago, was right at home on the green. Meanwhile, John—who played bowls for years back in Lancashire—got a lovely surprise when his son popped by to join in the game!

Both gents had a brilliant time sharing stories, enjoying the sunshine, and even teaching Carer Rokhy a trick or two about how to bowl properly! 🏆

It was a perfect blend of sport, companionship, and nostalgia—and such a joy to see the smiles and memories flowing.
