PRACTICE CLOSURE - Advance notice - Wednesday 4th March 2026.

The Practice will be closed for the afternoon on Wednesday 4th March 2026 from 1.00pm. This is for essential staff training and is county wide.

You can access urgent medical care by dialling 111 or in an emergency calling 999. We will be open as normal on Thursday 5th March. Our online form will also be closed.

Our Dispensary will close at 1pm but will reopen at 5pm for 1 hour.

This week we are reminding all our eligible patients to respond to their invitations and make an appointment for their cervical screening. In the last 6 months we have seen a decrease in uptake.

Happy New Year to all our Patients and friends.
Please be aware that the Car Park and pavements around CNHC are very slippy today. Unfortunately our contractor has not visited overnight to treat these areas as planned. We are looking at alternatives until they can get here. In the meantime, please take care when moving around the site.

The CNHC Car Park.
Our Car Park is designed to be used by our patients and visitors. It is not to be used as overflow parking for local shops.
Over the last few days we have seen a huge increase in people using it to do their shopping, as the parking at the local shops is full or the queue is very long.
Cars are being parked along the road directly in front of the entrance to the Health Centre and in the bus stop too. This causes an obstruction for The Villager and those trying to use our disabled bays.
We are open as normal today and tomorrow and some patients are struggling to park for appointments, which can be very stressful for them.
Please be considerate of others over this festive period.
We thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

A reminder of our Christmas Opening hours for the Health Centre and the Dispensary:

Christmas Eve – open as normal
Christmas Day and Boxing Day - closed
Sat 27th /Sun 28th closed as normal.
Monday 29th open as normal
Tuesday 30th open as normal
Wednesday 31st open as normal
Thursday 1st Jan – closed
Friday 2nd Jan – open as normal.

Christmas Deadline 2025 – Prescriptions Ordering

The deadline for ordering medication in time for Christmas will be:

Monday 15th December 2025.

This allows enough time for us to process your request and send it to the Dispensary/Pharmacy and for them to prepare it for collection.

Any medication requested after this date will not be available until the new year.
