Let's make 2025 count!
Remember every small step on your journey matters. Sometimes the bigger picture isn't clear or the path to get there not clear. Therefore, focus on those little changes. Keep doing them and make it routine. That's what matters. Be accountable. Not every day will be a good one but always try to find something positive or something to learn from. From learning we grow.

TIMEOUT......whilst we all know the importance of this, sometimes it's hard to do ; easier said than done! However, our nervous systems all work much better when we do. When our bodies get stuck in low grade fight and flight it has a negative impact on our immune system, how we sleep, our energy levels and so much more. Little changes matter. So if you can't take a few days out take a few hours out. Take a walk somewhere peaceful, pack a picnic and if the weather isn't brilliant a thick jumper and a pair of wellies!! Don't make excuses....health and wellbeing is not just important it's essential. Supporting Stress Awareness Month.

Passionate and Compassionate, Amanda is a Bowen Therapist with a zest for life alongside a nurturing nature. Her clients have been heard to say “can we please have a bottle of Amanda’s radiant smile, positivity and encouragement“ to take away.

Amanda’s dream from early childhood was to be a nurse. This turned to reality when she completed her RGN training at St Thomas Hospital, London in 1983. She undertook First Responder Training with the Ambulance Service and worked voluntarily in her local community up until 2015.

Amanda’s effervescent personality and sense of adventure radiates through her life. She can be seen regularly walking her dog in the local countryside; she loves skiing in the Alps; she has run the London Marathon and spent many years travelling and experiencing different cultures. She is the proud Mum of three amazing young men, all of whom have made use of a having a “Bowen Mum” during their football, basketball and Lacrosse years!

Her natural calling towards health and wellbeing has led to a successful Bowen Practise in Upminster and the creation of The Essex Bowen Clinic. Amanda started her Bowen journey in 2008, training with The College of Bowen Studies. She has continued her personal development in Bowen with regular courses and studies, and is passionate about the development of the technique and the wider use of this therapy in the community. From treating babies of 3 days old, to sporting professionals and a client of 103 years of age, Amanda shows how Bowen truly is a therapy for all.
