Traditional Counselling methods are a great source of support for many people but I always felt as though something was missing…

Going through Counselling myself, I came to realise that I wasn’t actually getting any real life tools to use to support my Mental Health in my everyday life.

It was great to feel the sense of relief I got from talking about my feelings and any struggles that I had been going through recently, but I always left with a sense of “Well what do I do now?!”

Counselling is designed to be an ongoing process with weekly check ins that ask you the same questions, “How has your week been?”, ”Have there been any changes this week?” “How have you been feeling in yourself?”. These are all great but there is no real progress being made here and it can feel like each Counselling session just rolls into the other without there being any real change!

Then I found Mindfulness and decided to combine the two…💛

Mindful Therapy has been created to provide you not only with a safe place to talk, but tools, strategies and resources that you can use to help build a more positive and happier mindset!🙌

- Well it can mean something different to everyone, but here at The Mindful Therapist it offers you the reassurance that you will be able to talk freely and openly whilst being listened too and guided by a trained Talking Therapist and Mindfulness Teacher⭐️.

Who is this page for?

- This page is for anyone who would like to learn new ways of managing their Mental Health on a day to day basis. Not only will The Mindful Therapist provide you with a safe space to talk through any problems you may be experiencing now or have experienced in the past, but it will also provide you with Mindfulness practices and strategies that will support your Mental Health for years to come!🙌
