Vitamin D plays a vital role in how your body works every day. 🌞

Known as the sunshine vitamin, we can produce it naturally from sunlight during the lighter months.

But as autumn and winter roll in, most of us simply don’t get enough, and that’s when problems often start creeping in.

Our latest blog post shares the telltale signs that you might be deficient in Vitamin D and what you can do to boost your levels. ⬇️

Why It Matters More Than You Think Vitamin D isn’t just another supplement – it’s a cornerstone for your entire body’s function. Known as the “sunshine vitamin,” we can produce it naturally from sunlight during the lighter months. But as the autumn and winter roll in, most of us simply d...

🧊🔥 Ice vs Heat: What’s Right for Your Pain?
Still confused about when to use ice vs heat for pain?
You’re not alone—this is one of the most common questions we get in clinic.
Here’s a simple breakdown:

Use ICE when:
✅ It’s a new injury (within 24–72 hours)
✅ There’s swelling or inflammation
✅ You feel sharp, throbbing pain
✅ You’ve overdone it at the gym or pulled something
Why? Ice helps reduce inflammation and calms irritated tissues.

Use HEAT when:
✅ It’s chronic tension or stiffness
✅ You feel tight, aching, or “locked up”
✅ There’s no visible swelling
✅ You’re trying to loosen up before movement
Why? Heat relaxes muscles, improves circulation, and helps you move better.

⚠️ Using the wrong one can delay recovery or even worsen pain.
And sometimes... you need a combination strategy.

📩 Drop “ICE” in the comments and I’ll send you our quick-use guide so you know exactly when to use what—and how.
Because healing isn’t just about what you do… it’s about doing the right thing at the right time.

During pregnancy, some women develop pelvic pain, which can be very uncomfortable.

It's caused by a stiffness of your pelvic joints or the joints moving unevenly at either the back or front of your pelvis.

Although it's common, there's no need to suffer. This explains how a chiropractor can help you stay pain-free during pregnancy: https://chislehurstchiro.com/pregnancy-new-mums/

As your bump gets bigger during pregnancy, your muscles and ligaments adjust - they need to do that to accommodate a growing baby.

The changes are normal, of course, but sometimes it can feel uncomfortable. One way to ease discomfort is to have a chiropractic session.

Discs act like shock absorbers - they enable your spine to be flexible and support your weight.

They’re able to do that because they have such a high water content, which is why staying hydrated is important for keeping your spine in good health. 💧

Want to know more about why water is a key ingredient for a healthy back? Our blog post explains. ⬇️

Why you need more than water to hydrate Hydration may be front of mind in summer, yet it’s crucial all year round.
