Next up on our Practitioner Profiles is the wonderful Frances.

Frances trained at the City College of Acupuncture in London. She originally trained as a musician and have worked freelance as an orchestral player for 20 years. A very helpful course of acupuncture treatment in 2014-15 inspired her to become an acupuncturist herself, and she values its ability to help people on both a physical and mental-emotional level.

Frances runs her clinics on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.

🚨🚨🚨New at CCHC🚨🚨🚨

Starting in September, Laura will be offering Reiki and Auricular Acupuncture from CCHC on Wednesday mornings.

Laura qualified with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy but after nearly 10 years working within the NHS, felt that conventional healthcare didn’t allow her to support people as holistically as she wanted.

Laura went on to retrain in Reiki Energy Healing (training in Usui Reiki Ryōhō, the original Japanese energy healing system) and Auricular Acupuncture (using the gentle NADA protocol that uses five specific points to support relaxation, emotional balance, and recovery from stress, trauma and anxiety).

Bringing this strong clinical foundation into her holistic practice, Laura offers gentle yet powerful therapies for all ages, to create a safe, supportive space for healing and restoration, relief from stress and anxiety, dealing with physical symptoms, or simply feeling the need for emotional or energetic balance.

Afternoon all, over the next few weeks we'll be sharing the profiles of our practitioners. First up we have the wonderful Susannah.

Susannah holds a degree in Acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, and has helped countless individuals manage pain and improve their well-being. In addition to traditional acupuncture, Susannah has specialised training in Japanese Acupuncture and Tui Na , offering a broader range of treatments and gentler options for the needle phobic.

Susannah ensures every patient receives personalised care and attention. Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, stress, or other health issues, Susannah is here to support you on your journey to better health.

Cholsey Complementary Health Centre opened in June 2013 to offer a range of complementary therapies for the people of Cholsey. We are housed in a purpose-built suite in the Cholsey Pavilion with two treatment rooms and a spacious reception area.
We aim to make these therapies, which include traditional acupuncture, herbal medicine, tui na, soft tissue therapy, sports and remedial massage, McTimoney and pilates available in order to promote the health and well-being of the village. We also welcome patients outside of the village, some of which travel many miles to have treatment here at CCHC.
Over the next few weeks we will post profiles of our practitioners, so you can learn a little more about our wonderful team.

‼️Advance Warning ‼️

From Monday 10th February the car park at the Pavilion will be reduced to half capacity.

This is expected to last for 2.5 weeks, whilst resurfacing can be undertaken.

Please can patients allow extra time to park before their appointment. Or if you are able to, please use public transport or walk to clinic, as that would be even better! Thank you.
