John and I have just nipped to for a 🥪&☕️, which along with the service was excellent.

We timed it well as site workers and cyclist arrived. It’s so nice to have the village pub reopened, and to see it thriving. Check it out people!

On Friday and Saturday last week I was back in the classroom learning about Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage. Thank you to Em of for delivering a fantastic course!

It was great to meet some more therapist and have a laugh, whilst swapping clinic stories and experiences, and of course try and learn MLD.

It did take some getting used to… in MLD you use the lightest of touch to get the lymph moving. As I’ve developed as a therapist I’ve moved away from the “no pain, no gain” and really believe and see results in the “less can be more” approach. That said, it was still quite hard to dial back the pressure at times, as you intuitively try and treat the tension in the soft tissues, which is not what this is about!

I aim to bring this very relaxing, gentle, effective modality to clinic soon, more updates to follow in a few weeks, but first… Monday morning clinic and then logging off for a week for R&R
