Tapas, or discipline, is the third niyama (observance) of Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga. 🤔

For me, discipline is about consistently making time for something positive in my life, without forcing myself, but having genuine reason to determine myself to do it. ☀️

To practise Tapas today, I will give myself a break from sugary drinks so that my teeth and body feel healthier. 🙅‍♀️

I’ve had a bit of a declutter and have gotten rid of over 50 things! They were all small things, but it just goes to show how much stuff can build up. 🧼

I’ve had a reorganise too and things look a lot more spacious. I feel so much delight from something so simple, and I’m all for it! 🥰

Contentment is about accepting the present moment and not needing anything external to find happiness. 😊

To practise Samtosha today, I will try not to worry about things I have no control over. ☀️
