The Practice will be closed today from 1pm for Staff Training
If you require medical advice when we are closed please use one of the following services:
• Pharmacy First – advice and treatment for minor illness at your local pharmacy
• The 111 Service
• Local Urgent Care Centre for anything clinically urgent

We will re open at our usual time of 8.00am on Wednesday 4th March 2026

‘Check it, Don’t Chance it!’ Listen to your body. Act now on cancer.
Campaign Overview

• Campaign Name: Check it, don’t chance it. Listen to your body – Act Now on Cancer. The New digital cancer awareness campaign launches today and it aims to encourage people to talk about cancer, check for symptoms, and act early by contacting their GP

• Objective: Encourage early presentation of cancer symptoms by promoting awareness of key signs and urging people to see their GP if symptoms persist.

• Duration: Launching with a burst of activity between 12th January 2026 – 9th March 2026, the campaign will run for the 3 months.

2. Key Campaign Messages
• Listen to your body. Act now on cancer.
• Symptoms featured:
o Lump on body
o Pain that won’t go away
o Blood in poo
o Blood in p*e
o Unexplained weight loss
• Seek help straight away, “Your doctor will want to see you.”
