🌟 Bake Sale and Local School Choir Fundraiser! 🎶🍰

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful choir performance from a local school. We then spent the afternoon preparing delicious cakes for our bake sale, happening today! All proceeds will support the Alzheimer's Society and our residents.

Don’t miss out on our special "Forget Me Not" badges available for purchase, with all proceeds also going to this important cause.

🌟 Exciting News at Our Care Home! 🌟

We are thrilled to share that Dynamic resin driveways has once again shown their incredible generosity, just like they did last Christmas! With the warmer weather upon us, they’ve teamed up with another amazing local businessman, Raheim, the owner of NorthWest Whippy.

Tomorrow, all our residents and staff will be treated to a visit from Raheim and his ice cream van, bringing free ice cream for everyone! 🍦🎉 A huge thank you to Liam Wynn from Dynamic Resin Driveways and Raheim for their kindness and support. We can’t wait to see all the smiles this sweet treat will bring!

VE Day Celebrations at Jasmine Court 🏅🎉

What a truly wonderful day we've had as we came together to celebrate VE Day in style—filled with joy, memories, music, and the spirit of togetherness.

Our beautiful garden was buzzing with laughter and chatter as residents and staff enjoyed a full day of activities: from flower arranging with a stunning VE Day-themed centrepiece, to quizzes, dancing, and our very own Vera Lynn-style “We’ll Meet Again” sing-along that had everyone joining in with a smile.🎤🎶

We shared stories, remembered the past, and honoured the courage and resilience of those who lived through wartime Britain—complete with ration books, identity cards, gas masks, and even a nostalgic air-raid shelter setup to explore.

Afternoon tea was a true highlight—fresh scones with cream and jam, a delicious spread of wartime-inspired treats, and of course, plenty of cups of tea shared over cherished memories.☕️🫖🧁

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made today so special—and to those we remember and celebrate on this day of peace and victory. VE Day reminds us of the strength in unity, and today we truly felt that warmth in every moment shared. ❤️🤍💙

Bucket list wishes has been a focal point this week, and staff are trying to help make those wishes come true. First on the list is to visit Southport.
