Last night, we had our Christmas party and we had a fabulous evening!

A huge thank you to Sheryl who worked her magic in ensuring visits were covered in order for all staff to be able to attend.
Thank you to our clients and their families who also stepped in to allow us to make this happen, their gratitude and willingness to step in so that our staff could enjoy a few hours celebrating Christmas as a team is just so amazing to see and testament to how valued we are.
Thank you to Elliot's Bistro for the delicious food and a beautiful setting.

This year we introduced our own annual awards ceremony and the following Angels received an award....

New Starter of the year - For making an outstanding impact, settling in brilliantly and shown great promise - Sarah
Heart of Gold Award - For consistently showing exceptional compassion and emotional support to clients - Elizabeth
Mentor of the Year - For helping new staff feel supported and confident - Shelley
Above and Beyond Award - For stepping in, stepping up and consistently doing more than expected - Ellie
Manager's Angel Award - A special recognition chosen by management for someone who has stood out through dedication, teamwork and exceptional care - Nikki

A massive congratulations to our winners and as ever, it is always difficult to choose as we are so lucky to have the most amazing Angels on our team who do such a fantastic job.
We also had the opportunity, as a team, to congratulate Sharon, our Caregiver of the year and National winner of Caregiver of the year for the North!

We missed those who couldn't make it due to illness or other prior commitments.

What a wonderful night, shared together, to celebrate our Angels and the amazing work they do for those in need. We love being able to get together as a full team 💗

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree🎄....

Amongst the hustle and bustle of buying gifts, Christmas food shopping and booking appointments - we love supporting our clients with all of the big events and the little things that make their Christmas season extra special.

Sharon had a fabulous visit assisting our lovely client with her Christmas tree, resulting in her really feeling the Christmas Spirit and looking forward to the festive treats ahead.

Having the opportunity to build relationships with our clients really makes these moments special and takes on a whole new meaning of being a caregiver. 💗

When visits intertwine....

Our fabulous Angels Ellie and Deb both decided to take 2 of our lovely clients to a Christmas craft event at Buttermere Community Centre. It was completely unplanned and was a joy to see each other in attendance. One of our clients struggles with anxiety and being able to interact with another client really helped calm nerves which was wonderful to see. Our Angels are amazing at their jobs but sometimes our clients can be Angels without even realising it! 💙

Thank you to Miguel for putting a smile on our clients face last week. Miguel offered lots of choices so that our client could enjoy his visit and be able to do something he wouldn't normally be able to do. They enjoyed a lovely walk at Euxton Park and a delicious lunch.
