Crafting For Joy, 1st Monday of every month, we will be making January Gratitude & Vision Jar with Clay words for the year talesman seal.
January invites us to slow right down, warm our hands, and make with intention.
In this cosy, creative workshop we’ll craft a Gratitude Jar first, grounding ourselves in what has already carried us. From this rooted place, we then create a Vision Jar for the year ahead, gently shaping what we wish to grow.
This is a hands-on, crafty session — paint on fingers, clay under nails, time to play and potter.
🧶 What we’ll be making:
Decorating glass jars using paint, twine, lace, paper, wool, dried botanicals and natural textures
Writing and rolling gratitude notes to place inside
Crafting two clay words for the year ahead, hand-shaped and attached to seal the jar
Finishing touches with ribbons, wax, tags or charms
🖐 You’ll leave with:
A beautiful, handmade Gratitude & Vision Jar
Two clay word charms to guide your year
A grounded, calm sense of direction for the months ahead
No crafting experience needed — this is about having fun, making, and setting down roots at the start of the year.
