All of Tony’s family would like to place on record their sincere thanks to everyone who has sent well wishes, condolences, kind messages of sympathy and generously donated to Dementia U.K, following their recent sad loss.

A special thank you to Tony’s favourite carers at Jasmine Court Care Home, who looked after him during his time there. It was a comfort to know he was in good hands and he was settled being there.

For those that attended the funeral service or watched it via the live stream, Tony would have been so pleased with such a turnout and the efforts people went to in paying their respects.

Thanks to both The Gilded Lily and Marshalls Florist for providing the stunning floral arrangements, Joanne and her team at The Wheatsheaf, Coppull for their hospitality and to Shelley’s Kitchen for providing the refreshments.

Lastly, to Peter Smith, for conducting such a fitting service on the day, capturing Tony so well and giving him the send off he deserved.

Passed away peacefully at home, with his family by his side, on Saturday 14th March 2026, aged 88 years.

The beloved husband of Jean, dearly loved father of Paul, Emma and David and the loving grandad of Bailey.

Requiem Mass and interment will take place at SS Peter and Paul’s R.C Church, Mawdesley on Monday 30th March at 10am.

Passed away peacefully at Jasmine Court Care Home, Chorley, Lancs on Saturday 21st February 2026, aged 81 years.

Tony was a dearly loved dad, grandad, brother, father in law, brother in law, uncle and great uncle who will be sadly missed by all his family.

The funeral service will take place at Charnock Richard Crematorium on Thursday 12th March at 1:30pm.

Dearly loved mum of John, Caroline, Scott, Leeann and Michelle, dear mother in law to their partners, Ruth, Ben and Jason.

She will also be sadly missed by all her loving grandchildren: John, Charmaine, KellyAnne, Michael, Kyle, Christopher, Josh, Campbell, Carson, Mia and her great grandchildren: Ella, Jace, Louie, Willow, Kayden and another on the way.

The funeral service will take place at Sacred Heart R.C Church, Brooke Street, Chorley on Tuesday 17th February at 11am, prior to interment at Chorley Cemetery.

Following the service, everyone is welcome to join the family at St. Mary’s Parish Centre, Devonshire Road and continue to share treasured memories of Ray.
