🏃‍♂️🌲 KS2 Cross Country Event 🌲🏃‍♀️

Chorley’s Angels will be providing First Aid cover at the Chorley School Sport Partnership KS2 Cross Country.

📅 Saturday 21st March
🕘 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
📍 Astley Park, Chorley

A fantastic event bringing together local primary school pupils to take part in cross country, promoting fitness, confidence and a love of sport.

💚 Our volunteers will be on hand throughout the morning helping to keep everyone safe.

🎭 Chorley’s Angels at Chorley Theatre 🎭

Even on the quieter weekends when there are no large events taking place, you can still find Chorley’s Angels supporting our local community at Chorley Theatre.

💚 Whether it’s large community events or local theatre productions, our volunteers are always proud to be there helping keep everyone safe.

We're on the second of 4 nights of The Time Machine, and there's only a handful of tickets remaining, with Saturday almost full. Join us for this time-travelling comedy at 7.30pm every night.

Chorley’s Angels will be providing First Aid cover at the Roddlesworth Roller 9km and the Daffodil Doddle 2.2km this weekend.

This fantastic community race day welcomes runners of all ages and abilities, from families and first-timers taking part in the Daffodil Doddle to experienced runners tackling the scenic 9 km trail route through woodland and countryside around Abbey Village.

💚 Our volunteers will be on hand throughout the morning providing First Aid cover. If you see us in green and high-vis, be sure to say hello.

💚 You never know who you’re going to bump into!

At a recent pop-up CPR and defibrillator awareness session, we had a lovely surprise visit from Niamh, one of our former members who has grown up and is now a qualified Occupational Therapist.

Niamh is just one of the many young people who have come through the doors at Chorley’s Angels and gone on to achieve great things. It’s always incredibly proud moments like this that remind us why we do what we do.

Of course, we couldn’t resist testing her on the CPR manikin… and we’re pleased to say she’s definitely still got the skills! 👏

We love seeing our past members thriving and making a difference. 💚

🕯️ Holocaust Memorial Day 🕯️

Today we remember the millions of lives lost and stand together against hatred and intolerance.

🕊️ We remember.

Today on Holocaust Memorial Day, communities across the UK will come together to remember the six million Jewish men, women and children murdered during the Holocaust, the millions more murdered under N**i persecution, and to commemorate where persecution led in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur. 🕯️

Holocaust Memorial Day is not only a moment to remember - it is a moment to act. Whether by lighting a candle, learning through education, attending a ceremony or taking time to reflect, there are many meaningful ways to take part.

We invite you to join us to mark Holocaust Memorial Day. In a time when prejudice is alarmingly rising across our communities, Holocaust Memorial Day matters more than ever.
