Today wellbeing yoga pratice: 🧘♂️
Following a session last week focused around alignment and a better understanding/feeling of our bodies in poses. We move from being focused on our awereness to being focused on action.
Today we practice Sankalpa using the yogic tool also good for mental health, we will be putting additional focus on living out our values.
Sankalpa being is easy to use, it being a sentence of our heartfelt intention or vow to ourselves, it being based on values and framed using it in actions.
By repeating the sentence to ourselves we remind ourselves to act with the value and keep focus on it.
This could be done doing meditation, in yoga classes or just in our everyday life's.
Similar to positive affirmations, they can also be soothing and grounding.
Some ideas can be:
I practice compassion,
I live with peace
I am brave
I am love
I act or practice love.
In line wih a happier life
We invite everyone to:
1: Reflect on your values.
2: Reframe it into a sentence starting with either I am or I act.
3: Identify when it would be a good time for you to repeat the sentence or when you would need it.
4. Put it into practice.
