This one was special.👰🏼‍♀️✨

The beautiful bride-to-be .alexcaffufle came all the way from Liverpool, nervous about treatment. She didn’t want to look like she’d had anything done, she just wanted to look like the freshest version of herself on her wedding day 🤍

After an extensive consultation, we created a bespoke plan using polynucleotides under the eyes and across the face to brighten and improve skin quality and 3ml Midface dermal filler restoration. ♥️

✨ 1–1 Lip & Cheek Enhancement Training Day ✨

I had the pleasure of delivering a bespoke 1–1 lip & cheek enhancement training course with the lovely Faith, a registered nurse from Leeds.

We began with theory to cover anatomy, facial assessment and treatment planning, before moving on to the practical element, achieving some beautiful, natural results on our models.

Faith is a truly talented injector: gentle, precise and with an excellent aesthetic eye. It was a very successful day, and I can’t wait to continue mentoring her.

Mild jowls aren’t always about skin… muscle activity often plays an important role.

Overactivity in muscles such as the DAO, mentalis and platysma can create downward pull and shorten the lower face, contributing to early jowling ⬇️

An overactive chin muscle can shorten the lower face and make it appear rounder. Botox relaxes this tension, lowering the chin creating a more tapered jawline.✨

Treating the DAOs and upper platysma alongside this reduces the downward pull on the jowls, improving jawline contour.

This combination is best for early jowling caused by muscle activity, not significant skin laxity.

❌ If only the superficial head of the masseter is treated, the deeper heads can still contract causing the superficial part to bulge when you bite down.

✅Fortunately this is easily corrected by a few extra units in the deeper layer but can be avoided by treated both layers evenly ✨

Looking for a natural way to soften upper lip lines? ✨

This patient didn’t want added lip volume, her goal was to refine the lips and soften upper lip lines ⬇️

We strengthened the vermilion border and philtrum, then placed micro-droplets of dermal filler directly into the lines to smooth.

2025- a year I’ll always be grateful for 🤍

From welcoming new patients and receiving recognition for clinical excellence, to launching my own training courses, expanding my clinic, and continuing to uphold the highest standards in dentistry and aesthetics.

✨ Nefertiti Lift ✨

This lovely patient first came in August with concerns about early jowling and lower-face heaviness and wanted a brow lift. We designed a bespoke combination approach to restore balance and support the lower face.

Our plan included:

1️⃣ Dermal filler to the mental fat pad
Blends and reconnects the chin to the jawline, improving definition and softening jowls.

2️⃣ Dermal filler to the cheeks and pre-auricular area
Restores volume loss in the mid-face and in front of the ear, providing lift and structural support to the lower face.

3️⃣ Botulinum toxin under the tail of the brow
Creates a subtle brow lift, helping to open the eyes and lift the outer brow area.

4️⃣ Botulinum toxin along the jawline and platysmal bands (Nefertiti lift)
The platysma muscle pulls the lower face downwards. Relaxing the bands and jawline fibres:
•Softens visible platysmal bands, creating a smoother, more refined neck
•Reduces the downward pull on the jawline and jowls
•Allows the lifting muscles of the face to work more effectively

This patient is back for her 3-monthly botox maintenance to keep the brow lifted and neck smooth, while the dermal filler continues to support and contour the jawline between treatments.
