Hi everyone

Due to ever increasing business overheads and the extensive amount of training I have completed over the last 2 years plus, I have decided that I will be increasing my prices from the above date.

I have not increased my prices for over 18 months and during that period, costs have increased significantly.

Here is a list of my new charges from 6th January 2025

****Sports Massage/ Deep Tissue Massage****

Back and Legs - 1 hour appointment - £40
Legs or deep tissue back massage - 45 mins - £33

30 min treatments will be charged at £25 for existing clients only. NOT AVAILABLE TO FIRST TIME CLIENTS

****Holistic Treatments****

Indian Head Massage 45 min - £30

The Indian Head Massage is a relaxing holistic treatment that focuses on massaging acupressure points on the head, neck, and shoulders, with the aim of rebalancing your body's energies. The treatment is based on the ayurvedic system of healing.

PLEASE NOTE ALL OF THE ABOVE TREATMENTS MAY BE COMPLEMENTED WITH THE USE OF HOT STONES

Reiki 1 hour £35

Reiki is a complementary treatment that seeks to promote wellness by creating balance in a person's life force or energy field. Anecdotally, many people who receive Reiki report that it helps them feel calm, relaxed, and connected

Whatever it is, its important to schedule it in. It holds the same importance as a work meeting.

Ways to claw back time

❤Turn off notifications on your phone
❤ schedule time to get back to people. Just because you receive a text/email doesn't mean you have to respond straight away.
❤ start to plan your day. Write it all down. By doing this you will begin to notice what time in a day is wasted or could be put to better use.
❤ set a limit on screen time.
❤ meal prep at the weekend to save time during the week

A couple of weeks ago Joe Wicks (the body coach) put this post out and I commented below.

I truly believe that any long term goal i.e better sleep/a healthy weight, first starts with movement.

I know we all lead busy lives but movement in any form i.e walking/running/cycling is so beneficial not only for our physical health but also our mental health.

Please schedule that time in for you.

Start small, create consistency and everything else will come ❤

Hot/cold stone therapy training complete. I'm very much looking forward to introducing this into my normal treatment over the next few weeks. Fear not, I will still be using my hands to work deep into the muscles but the stones will allow me to heat the muscles more efficiently and allow a deeper massage (if you can imagine that 😅). The cold is great for inflammation/swelling and on certain parts of the body and may be used in conjunction with the heat.

Good morning

I just want to put this post out there as a gentle reminder that what you get from me is so much more than a massage.

I care deeply about my clients and if they are struggling in any way then this stays with me long after the treatment.

Please use the time you have to talk and get things off your chest knowing that it will always be in confidence and you will never be judged.

For those who's financial means don't stretch to a massage at the moment then please don't be a stranger. I can always make myself available for a coffee and a chat.

All of our insecurities can come from a lack of self-esteem. They stem from our self-talk revolving around negative thoughts, like self-doubt and questions about our self-image. We often feel insecure when we don’t value our well-being

Dealing with these insecurities can be difficult but confidence comes from putting ourselves into uncomfortable situations and knowing that we got through them.

When was the last time you put yourself into an uncomfortable situation??

Personally, I am trying to get over my fear of running races again. How am I doing this? By making small steps each day and each week.

I did Park run last week. Despite being anxious and stressed on the start line, I've accepted where I am now and have used it as fuel to try and get back to some level of fitness. By taking these steps I'm hoping to face my fear in January and finally get back to doing what I used to love.

Maybe you have a different set of insecurities which are holding you back. Whether you are contemplating registering for a race, thinking of applying for a job, signing up for a course, ending a toxic relationship, please use any fear or self doubt as a catalyst to propel you forward.

The atmosphere and community feel is amazing and guaranteed to start your Saturday in the best possible way. There are also multiple volunteering roles available if you don't necessarily feel like taking part.
