WHAT HAS OUR NEW HUB GOT TO OFFER?

• What is the new hub? A collaboration of local services to provide info, advice and support to people with dementia and their carers including a social group to provide peer support.
• Who is the hub for? People with a memory concern/diagnosis of dementia and their families, friends and carers.
• Where is it located? The Refectory, St. Laurence’s Church, Union Street, Chorley, PR7 1EB
• When is it open? 1st Wednesday of the month, during November and December 10:30am – 12: 30pm. it will move to the 3rd Monday of the month for the whole of 2026.
• Who is running it? Chorley Dementia Action Group in collaboration with Age UK Lancashire and other community partners.
• What are the goals of the hub? Promoting independence, social connection, and a better quality of life.

CAP Life Skills
Wednesday 1st October - Wednesday 26th November, an 8 week course (week off 5/11/25), 10am-12.30pm
This course will help you with confidence building, decision-making and practical skills. This includes award winning budgeting skills! Sessions are very interactive and fun. Arrive from 9.30 for brews & pastries, course starts at 10am followed by a free lunch afterwards, at 12.30pm. Taking place in a ground floor room
