Having one or two family members working in the same Optometry practice is relatively common today: but having an entire family working hard to provide you with the finest eye care is rare. Practice owners Karen and her husband Paul have been at the Chorley practice for nearly 20 years. Their daughter Sara and brothers Stephen and Anthony are all fully qualified dispensers as well as technicians in the Lab. The Worswick family are accompanied by three Optometrists who are highly regarded by patients visiting the practice. A fully functioning lab isn’t found in many practices either. By having one we are able to manufacture your prescription on the premises; create single vision lenses while you wait; We’ll even put new lenses into an old frame for you. We enjoy building personal relationships with each of our patients and look forward to seeing every one of them when their next visit is due. We've always got the kettle on with refreshments and are ready for a chat. We want to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Thinking about spooky contact lenses for Halloween?
A word of warning: buying costume lenses from unregulated sellers can be dangerous. Poor-quality lenses can cause serious eye infections or even permanent damage. If you’re considering special lenses, always get them fitted safely by a registered optician.

Our Sara is here to tell you about our 'Don't shelve your Sunnies' campaign. It's a misconception that we don't need our sunglasses in Autumn and Winter, "especially in this country" however, just like at the moment, we are lucky enough to experience some lovely autumn and winter sun and this sunshine is lower in the sky than our summer sun so we need our sunglasses even more. Yes the sunshine days are more rare now but make sure you have your Sunnies to hand just in case. 😉😎
We sell sunglasses for all the family all year round from just £10.
This National Eye Health Week it's also important to mention that protecting our eyes from harmful UV rays can help to prevent cataracts in later life.
