Today we were delighted that Diwali filled our crafternoon with shine and shimmer!

Using multi-coloured gems and sparkling glitter glues, was the perfect way for us to celebrate the Hindu Festival of Light!....

Did you know that Italians believe that cutting your spaghetti is bad luck?

On National Pasta Day we learnt a lot of new things about this simple and ancient food, adored by Italians and enjoyed world-wide!

Our amazing Bukky is half Italian, and she gave us first-hand information about how each shape of pasta is best suited for certain meals.

With Bukky's talent, we learnt to speak some Italian too!

Reminiscing about delicious comfort food like macaroni cheese, and sharing home-made lasagna recipes was part of the fun!

Our Harvest themed Church service was just wonderful!

Father Francis carefully chose music, hymns, prayers and readings, all designed to help us appreciate and rejoice at nature's plentiful harvest.

He raised our awareness of the many people who work the land, sort and distribute food and to be thankful for all they do!

A huge thank you to Father Francis for bringing this seasonal service for us to enjoy!
