🍍🍓☀️ Fruit Tasting Fun! ☀️🍓🍍
This afternoon we enjoyed a lovely fruit tasting session out in the fresh air 🌿💛 We tried a variety of delicious fruits, with the plums and pineapple being firm favourites! 😋🍑🍍
We had a great chat about how pineapple can make your tongue tingle if you eat too much – a fun and tasty talking point! 😄👅
With hats on and suncream applied 👒🧴, we relaxed, laughed, and enjoyed spending time together with friends while soaking up the fresh air 🌼💬
A wonderful afternoon had by all! 💛✨

☘️💚 Happy St Patrick’s Day! 💚☘️
We had a fantastic afternoon celebrating with a special live performance from Just Joe 🎤🎶, who treated us to some wonderful Irish-themed songs 🇮🇪
Everyone joined in singing along, clapping, and waving their arms to the music 👏🎵 It was lovely to see so many smiles as special memories were brought back through the songs 💭💕
A truly joyful afternoon enjoyed by all!

BINGO!!...was the name of the game this afternoon!

It was great fun making up our own Bingo Lingo, and this got us all involved!

In the end there were two lucky winners, our lovely Cath and Betty!

Our Mother's Day event was a huge success!

Our talented Chef John, prepared a delicious, classic Afternoon Tea for everyone to enjoy, where we were treated to scones, strawberry jam with clotted cream, all served with a glass of fizz or two!

It was lovely to see so many hugs and smiles today and we wanted to say a huge thanks to families and friends and especially to our dedicated staff!...

Thanks for making such special memories for our residents this Mother's Day!

🎶 A Wonderful Musical Afternoon at Marley Court! 🎶
Today we had the pleasure of welcoming singer Emma to Marley Court for a fantastic afternoon of music and memories.
Residents had great fun singing along to some well-loved songs, playing with flashing light-up musical instruments, and waving colourful silk fabric in time with the music. The room was full of smiles, laughter and plenty of rhythm! ❤️
Music has such a special way of bringing people together. It sparked lots of lovely conversations as residents reminisced about past times and shared memories connected to certain songs. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves with friends and embracing the joy that music brings. 🎶 💃🏽
Thank you, Emma, for such an uplifting visit – we can’t wait to have you back! 🎤✨

Today our residents came together in the downstairs lounge for a lovely afternoon of arts, crafts and colouring. 🎨🖍️
The room was filled with creativity, laughter and lots of conversation as everyone enjoyed taking some time to relax and express themselves through colour and craft. It was wonderful to see everyone chatting, sharing ideas and supporting each other while they worked on their creations.
Some of our residents shared how much they enjoyed the activity:
💬 “This is relaxing.”
💬 “I love colouring.”
💬 “I like how we all can chat and do this together.”
Moments like these remind us how important it is to spend time together, enjoying simple activities that bring joy, relaxation and friendship. 💕

We had a magical, musical afternoon, with Ian from Music in Mind!

Ian got the party started and we followed with scarf-waving, singing, clapping and swaying to our favourite hits!

We loved it when Ian played some George Formby classics on his 100 year old, banjo-lele too!

PLEASE....wait until the end of the clip, when Ian and our lovely Harry discuss the 'meaning of life!'
It's worth the wait!

We all had a 'slice of the pie' today!

British Pie Week saw our talented Chef Louise making a stunning beef and mushroom pie with veg, mash and gravy for our residents to enjoy!

Everyone commented it was absolutely delicious!

Games in the garden this afternoon was a chance to burn off a few calories, however.....we followed this with some warm fruit pies, served with double cream!!

We love Pie Week! ;)
