It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ray Jennings 💔
26/04/1952 – 27/01/2026

Ray was more than a name in Chorley — he was a true local legend ⭐ loved by so many and never forgotten by anyone who knew him. His loss has left a huge hole in our hearts and in the town he called home 🕊️

Ray’s funeral will take place at Sacred Heart RC Church, Brooke Street, Chorley PR6 0NG, on
Tuesday 17th February at 11.00am. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects 🤍

Saturday marks 12 years since Aaron Cooke has been gone.

The pain of losing him never truly fades — it just changes shape. Aaron was so deeply loved, and his absence is still felt every single day. 💔🕊️

Long story short (because it’s been a lot):

At the beginning of Covid, I had gallstones. Because of lockdowns and restrictions, they couldn’t operate at the time. Things then took a serious turn — the gallstones ruptured my pancreas, which caused a domino effect on the rest of my organs.

Since then, I’ve developed liver disease, and I’m now living with ammonia encephalopathy.

It’s been a long, unexpected, and exhausting journey, physically and mentally. Some days are harder than others, but I’m still here, still fighting, and taking things one step at a time.

If you’re reading this and feel able to, I’d really appreciate a kind comment or a bit of positivity — it truly helps more than you know. 💙✨

Still feels unreal writing this.

Not a day goes by where I don’t think about you, Ste Holt. My best friend. My brother in every way that mattered. Life has never been the same since the day you left, and the hole you left behind will never truly be filled.

I miss your laugh, your stupid jokes, the random messages, the memories only we shared. I miss who I was when you were still here. You were taken far too soon and the world is a darker place without you in it.

Today is heavy. Always will be.
But you’ll live on forever in my heart and in the stories we tell about you.

Went to CakeryCove today and got the millionaire flapjack oh my good lord! This was just 😮‍💨🤤🤤 delicious! My 3 year old robbed half of it from me and she also approves!

Iv hidden my cheesecake in the fridge and that’s MINE when they go to bed sorry kids 🤣😂

If you have a sweet tooth and fancy a little treat get yourself down to 81 Bolton street, Chorley lovely shop too if you fancy a sit down to enjoy your cake in peace (I should of done this instead half was snatched from me 🤣) 🪑 or you can takeaway to enjoy at home 🏡
