The Baby First Aid course was informative, comprehensive and engaging. I learned so much from the course and it was practical information that not only helped to reassure me but also equipped me with the tools that I would need should an incident arise. Janeen was an excellent teacher and delivered the information with clarity and warmth. I would recommend!

Baby Proofing! Little ones can start moving sooner than we think - my son was running at 8 months! Have a look at this week's blog for ways to baby-proof your home.

😲 Did you know that most accidents involving young children occur within their own home? This week is child safety week so we are looking at how to effectively baby proof your home to keep your little one safe.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​👶 If you’re pregnant or a parent of a tiny baby it won’t be long before your baby is on the move. They’ll be crawling, cruising, climbing and walking. They’ll be reaching, grabbing, putting things in their mouth and exploring as much of the world around them as they possibly can!

😄 It’s an exciting time when your baby starts moving so in order to enjoy it without having to worry it’s a good idea to baby proof your home well before your little one is on the move to make sure you can keep them safe.

Janeen was really helpful when booking our first aid course and enabled us to easily find a date that suited everyone attending. Janeen arrived punctually and came prepared with all the resources she needed. Janeen was very knowledgeable and delivered the course brilliantly. She was able to make it informative and relevant to everyone, regardless of their pre-existing training. We feel much more confident should we need to do any first aid on a baby, child or adult! We would highly recommend completing a course with Janeen before having your baby.

Saturday is a busy day for the NCT Watford branch - I will be delivering a baby & child first aid class for them in the morning - and then will be helping at the 'Nearly New' sale afterwards! I remember how helpful these sales were when my two were little... and then my young daughter thought they were shopping heaven! (She's now 17 and has been roped in to help too 😉)

We did the Paediatric First Air course on the 24th February. It was a full class with lots of people from all walks of life taking an interest in this invaluable course that I would recommend to everyone. Janeen was our trainer and Carol was assisting, they were both brilliant! Janeen explained everything in detail and took her time to show us how to administer CPR. She answered questions thoroughly and was patient with us. At the end, Janeen took the time to answer any additional questions. Brilliant course with a great trainer.
