You may not have heard of us around the Church Gresley/Swadlincote area, but we have been established since 1800 in Lichfield and have branches also in Tamworth and Stapenhill, all being part of the Dignity group.
We obviously understand that people don’t look forward to contacting a Funeral Directors, however, here at F M & J Wait you can look forward to the very best care for your loved one.
Our establishment has recently been fully refurbished to a very high standard and our staff here are all highly trained and very experienced, and are here to make sure that one of the most difficult times of your life is made that little bit easier.

J. Hylton & Sons Funeral Directors becomes part of F.M. & J. Wait

J. Hylton & Sons Funeral Directors in Swadlincote has become part of the F.M. & J. Wait brand.

J. Hylton & Sons Funeral Directors in Swadlincote has been rebranded under the F.M. & J. Wait name with new signage being recently installed. The premises have recently undergone a refurbishment programme to improve and modernise the facilities available to customers.

Established in the 1800s the F.M. & J. Wait name brings a wealth of experience within the funeral sector with branches also in Lichfield, Tamworth, Stapenhill and Now Swadlincote. Five generations later, the team continue to provide the same excellent care and service to the community of Swadlincote.

Graham Hall, Business Leader at F.M. & J. Wait Funeral Directors said:

“We want to reassure our customers that the same experienced teams who have served families in our community for many years will remain in place and will continue to provide excellent customer service. We also want to assure customers who have taken out a funeral plan with J.
