Arty Crafty
Things are changing at Holistic Joy Centre…
For those in Church Stretton and surrounding areas, we will now be running Arty Crafty sessions on Thursdays from 7-9pm, at Ley Gardens, Lawley Close,
Bring whatever creative project you are working on, or simply be inspired by the groups creations and join in.
As the group develops, we will be holding regular craft markets throughout the year.
The aim of Arty Crafty is not to raise funds for charity, but rather to create a platform for creative people to showcase their creativity.
Unlike some of the exhibitions held in Church Stretton, at our Craft Markets, you will not have to pay a fee per item, there will not be a limit on how many things you can showcase or sell, and there will definitely be no commission taken for any of your sales.
For some people, Arts & Crafts are a way of making a living. We believe that Artists contribute to our society,
Artists deserve fair compensation, and Artists should be paid for their value.
We would also like create a sense of an artistic community where we not only meet up and share knowledge & creativity, but also create a safe space where people of all colours, race, beliefs, all identities, etc. can come together to create in a safe environment.
A platform to artistic exposure is equally important to us. We would be more than happy to advise, help and promote you and your creations, too.
We will also be holding regular Arts & Crafts Workshops. If you are interested in running a Workshop, please email us: holisticjoycentre@gmail.com
We would like to know:
- a bit about you
- what creativity you do
- what inspires you
- and either some attachments of your work, or links to your website or social media so we can see your work.
If you have any further questions or even suggestions, please email us. We thoroughly look forward to hearing from and working with you to create more Joy!
See you at an Arty Crafty session soon!
