Your little mid week reminder✨

“You are what you consistently do. Not what you occasionally achieve”

It’s the little healthy habits that we do on a daily basis that truly add up. Having the discipline helps leads to habits. Habits on a daily basis lead to consistency. Consistency will lead onto growth!

As always, my biggest tip for you, start small! Don’t try to change everything at once. It could be making a conscious effort to eat healthier & better, moving your body more (even if it is just 10 minutes a day), sleep quality improves etc.

Whatever it is that you choose to do, to improve your health and wellbeing, I guarantee the more you do, over the next few weeks, and months you will FEEL HEALTHIER, ENERGISED, STRONGER, FITTER, HAPPIER🫶🏼

Why not take a moment this evening to plan in time for you to move your body for the week ahead💪🏼

Whether that is planning in your workouts, when to get out for a walk to have a break, booking in for your favourite classes…whatever it is you enjoy, actually planning and putting it into your diary, not only keeps you accountable, you’re also more likely to then complete it!🫶🏼

Remember, it’s never selfish to prioritise time for you, IT’S A NECESSITY!!✨

I have been doing classes for myself for a while, and for me, somethings just clicked!✨

There is truly just something about being on the reformer, the slow burn, the controlled strength, the deep breath that hits different, and I have absolutely fallen for it🫶🏼

But it’s not just the physical benefits, it’s given me a space and time away from the busyness of life where I feel totally present, and an hour to only focus on my breath, my movement and nothing else🤍

£800 I have raised through sales of my cookbook and donated to Weldmar Hospicecare! Honestly, I truly cannot believe it🥹

Firstly, thank you to each and every one of you who has bought one of my books over the last year and a half, I cannot begin to put into words how much it means! And I also hope you have found some inspiration for your home cooking too✨

Whenever I write an update, it truly is such bittersweet moment. Not only am I so proud of what this little idea has amounted too, the hours that were put behind the scenes to create it, and how successful it has been. But the reality then hits of why I am also doing it, and the one person who I want to share the success of it to more than anyone else, is the one who isn’t here and the reason why this book was created💔

Mum, you continue to inspire me every day. I use your strength to get me through each day, and I hope through each of my cookbooks sold, not only are we continuing your legacy, we’re encouraging and inspiring more people to cook simple meals from home just as you taught Alex and I too🤍 but just as you would put everyone else before you, I hope through the sales and donations, we are gifting people and their families that need the support of Weldmar every opportunity, just as they gave you and I know that’s exactly what you would love to see🤍

My cookbooks are still available to purchase. With over 30 recipes covering Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Snack Ideas, with every copy sold, £5 is donated to Weldmar. If you would like a copy, drop a comment below or DM and I’ll send you the info🫶🏼

The hardest thing when you know you want to make a change to your health and wellbeing, is not only feeling the “right time” of when to start

But also, to challenge your beliefs around what you think/believe is possible for you!✨

If you start to make changes to every part of your life, it may work for a while while motivation is high, but when it becomes overwhelming, you get off track, and then makes it even harder to restart again.

My biggest piece of advice, start small!

By gradually building the confidence in yourself and beginning to feel the positive effects of moving your body has on you, both physically & mentally, you’ll find your flow✨

Please don’t think there has to be the perfect time to create a better fitness and wellness routine for yourself. As there will always be a reason why you can’t.

So make a plan of action, pop it in your diary and just go for it!🫶🏼
