We are holding another mass Covid & Flu Autumn clinic all day.

🚫 This clinic is FULLY BOOKED, please only attend if you have a pre booked vaccination.

⏰ To allow us to manage the volume of patients attending the clinic, please ensure you attend at your allocated time, otherwise you may be turned away.

🪑 👫🏼🧍‍♀️🧍🏻‍♂️ If you are unable to stand in the queue please make the member of staff on the front door aware when you check in.

⛅️ The weather is forecast to be dry but chilly, please wear appropriate clothing incase the queue is slightly outside.

We've experienced some staff sickness this week, but we're doing our best to keep things running smoothly. We’ll endeavour to move the queue along as quickly as possible – we appreciate your patience and understanding.

With this in mind please wear clothing easily removable for the clinicans to be able to administer the vaccinations.

🚫 We are currently experiencing problems with our phone lines this morning. The issue has been reported, and we are awaiting engineers to resolve it as soon as possible.

We are transitioning into our new Patient Triage system. You will notice the following changes...

🌟 Our Reception team will ask each patient the same standardised set of questions to ensure consistent information is collated for our Triaging GP to assign to the correct place - you will have experienced something similar when using other services such as NHS 111 however our questions will be different.
🌟 Our website will have new links which will allow you to submit a query online during our opening hours of 8am-6:30pm. Existing forms have been replaced with new links.
🌟 Because we have reviewed how we use each days capacity - this does mean we ask you to be mindful that you will need to be able to attend an appointment on the same day you contact us if appropriate and wherever possible.

👩‍⚕️Please only attend the two Emergency Departments if it’s a life threatening or serious injury.

❌ Please don’t visit hospital if you have any symptoms. Together we can minimise spread and protect vulnerable patients.

📱111 in Gloucestershire works alongside a doctor led assessment service and can book you into local services if needed.

🤒 Like everyone, our team can sometimes be unwell too. We're currently working on fewer clinical staff than usual. Please bear with us while we work hard to maintain safe and effective care.

🫂 This has an impact on the whole practice so please be kind, our Reception team are working under increased pressure to answer as many calls as possible and move appointments simultaneously which will impact call wait times and appointment availability. We are truly grateful to everyone offering their patience and understanding to our teams during challenging times.

🚫 If you have an appointment and can not attend please do cancel this as soon as possible as this will drastically help with access for others. We are still seeing lots of patients who are not arriving for their prebooked appointments.

👉 Your appointment may be moved or cancelled as we navigate through this period of unpresedented sickness, we apologise in advance as this may not be the first cancellation you have had for the same appointment, we understand this can be frustrating but unfortunately this is outside our ability to control.

🧸 Just a reminder that due to the ongoing work on the roof at GL3 Hub, our baby group is closed this week. We hope to resume to normal next Tuesday 👶🏼 🤞🏼🤞🏼
