Forest Health Care will remain open Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm throughout the Christmas period, except for the Bank Holidays.

🎄 Prescription Orders 🎄
With the holiday season approaching, please plan ahead for any prescription refills. To ensure you have your medication on time, please submit your prescription requests by Thursday, 18th December to allow for processing before the holiday closures.

• Last day for prescription orders: Close of business Thursday, 18th December, to ensure they are processed and ready before Christmas closure.

Due to high staff sickness in our clinical team we have limited appointments available.

If you are experiencing any of the following, please go to the local pharmacy.
🔴sinusitis (adults and children aged 12 years and over)
🔴sore throat (adults and children aged 5 years and over)
🔴earache (children and young adults aged 1 to 17 years)
🔴infected insect bite (adults and children aged 1 year and over)
🔴impetigo (adults and children aged 1 year and over)
🔴shingles (adults aged 18 years and over)
🔴uncomplicated urinary tract infection (women aged 16 to 64 years).

We wanted to share with you details of the FREE Parent Workshops that Talk Well are running via Zoom from January 2026 over a course of 5 weeks. These workshops are for parents/carers of children between the ages of 11-18 within Gloucestershire. Please note that bookings for these will close at 11.30pm on 6 January.

These established workshops are designed to inform and support parents, helping them to understand their child’s distress and discover effective strategies to improve their resilience. The workshops are also an opportunity for parents going through similar experiences to encourage, support and learn from each other in a safe and friendly environment.

Drop in session is being held at our Cinderford Surgery on Wednesday 26th November between 10am - 12pm

A member of FVAF/GLosDigi will be able to guide you with your getting registered with NHS APP, viewing your records and ordering repeat prescriptions.
