Ordering your repeat prescription on the NHS App is easier than you think.
If you take medicine regularly, you can order a repeat prescription through the app – meaning you don't need to visit your GP, saving you time.

Our Outreach Vaccination and Health team are offering drop-in vaccinations to over 75s and those who are eligible.

Tomorrow you can receive your COVID vaccine at Ow Bist Forest Community Space, Dockham Road, Cinderford, from 10am-2pm.

People eligible include:

• all adults aged 75 years and over
• residents of care homes for older people
• people aged 6 months and over who are severely immunosuppressed.

As well as a COVID vaccination you can receive a blood pressure check, healthcare advice and signposting to free local services.

📌 Monday 26 January: Redwell Centre, Redwell Road, Matson, Gloucester - 10am-2pm
📌 Tuesday 27 January: Cirencester Livestock Market (Voyce Pullin Markets Ltd), Cotswold Agricultural Centre, Driffield Road, Cirencester - 9.30am-2pm

Christmas Pharmacy Opening Times.

With industrial action by Resident Doctors taking place from this Wednesday morning, there will be some temporary service changes in the county.

These include:
👉Cheltenham’s Emergency Department will temporarily switch to a Minor Injury and Illness Unit (MIIU) from 8pm on Tuesday 16 December
☀️Daytime (8am – 8pm): The department will operate as an MIIU from Wednesday 17 December to Sunday 21 December
🌙Overnight (8pm – 8am): The department will be closed overnight from Wednesday 17 December until 8am on Monday 22 December
🚑The Emergency Department service at Cheltenham General Hospital will resume at 8am on Monday 22 December
🚩Emergency care services will be centralised at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital 24/7 during this period of strike action.

The public are advised to only attend the Emergency Department or call 999 if their condition is life-threatening or serious.

Community Minor Injury and Illness Units and GP practices across the county will continue to provide services. The public can get advice on their healthcare options at 111.nhs.uk or by calling 111.

Forest Health Care will remain open Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm throughout the Christmas period, except for the Bank Holidays.

🎅 Christmas Closure Dates 🎅
• 25th December – Christmas Day
• 26th December – Boxing Day
• 1st January – New Year’s Day

🎄 Prescription Orders 🎄
With the holiday season approaching, please plan ahead for any prescription refills. To ensure you have your medication on time, please submit your prescription requests by Thursday, 18th December to allow for processing before the holiday closures.

🗓️ Important Dates:
• Last day for prescription orders: Close of business Thursday, 18th December, to ensure they are processed and ready before Christmas closure.
