If you need any healthcare advice we are available to discuss in store or on the phone.
We recognise some of you may be worried with the strikes and what that might mean.
We stand in solidarity with the Nurses and Paramedics during these unprecedented times for the survival of the NHS. Their industrial action has come as a final resort and would never endanger the public wilfully. The fact is the public has been endangered due to underfunding by the government and their unwillingness to listen to those who run the NHS on a day-to-day basis, the doctors, nurses, paramedics and support staff thus leaving the NHS in such a precarious state.

Pharmacists are responsible for ensuring that the supply of medicines is within the law, ensuring that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable and advising patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur and answering patients' questions.
How an MPharm degree help them do so?

As the Covid-19 pandemic continues, don't forget the importance of getting vaccinated against the flu!

It is expected that the seasonal flu virus will co-circulate with the Covid-19 virus this winter. As influenza levels were extremely low during the 2020/21 flu season, lower population immunity is expected this year.

Therefore, it is vital that all eligible people get their flu jab to protect themselves this year. Please call our pharmacy directly to book your flu vaccination.

Omicron: What we Know so far About the new COVID-19 Variant .

The Delta variant, which was first detected in India towards the end of 2020, is still the dominant strain of COVID-19 in the UK. However, the new Omicron variant is beginning to spread, causing the UK government to take action and bring back compulsory face mask-wearing in public indoor settings such as on public transport, in venues and in shops.

Get a collect code to pick up coronavirus (COVID-19) rapid lateral flow tests. Use this service to get a collect code so you can pick up rapid lateral flow test packs from a pharmacy. If you’re 11 to 15, your parent or guardian must use this service to get a collect code.

How it works

1. Get a collect code

Before you go to the pharmacy, use this service to get a collect code. This is a code that you need to show when you collect your test packs. You can create an account so it’s quicker next time.

You can also get a collect code by calling 119 (free from landlines and mobiles). Lines are open from 7am to 11pm.

We’ll send your collect code by email or text. You can print your code.

You can collect test packs for your household or another household. You must get a collect code for each household.

2. Collect your tests

Take your collect code to the pharmacy. Someone will record your code and give you the tests.

You need to get a new collect code for each collection.

3. Do the test

After you’ve done the test, you should report your test result. We’ll tell you how to report your result when we send your collect code. You can also find this information in the test instructions
