                                            Sometimes we go through the twists and turns of life and don't realise just how much "baggage" we have accumulated until it gets too much and we need to put the brakes on and sort through the 'kerfuffle' that's built up inside.
The common misconception is that us holistic therapists are immune to becoming a bit "discombobulated" ourselves, which couldn't be further from the truth!
We too are human, and can also feel the stresses and strains every now again and then also have to reboot and press the reset button!
I myself had a period of trauma at the start of the year, and had to do some inner work for a short while.
This isn't always an easy thing to do. Sometimes trauma can really leave it's mark, and healing is by no means a linear process. For many people it can be sticky, messy, and sometimes like peeling back a sticky plaster time and time again.
The same with stress and living a fast paced life - many people find it hard, or just don't seem able to slow down to a more liveable pace.
This in itself can cause a variety of ailments, such as headaches digestive problems, and disrupted sleep patterns. 
Reiki is a lovely treatment to have in times such as these, as it helps to clear our energy field and aids the whole self into recovery, whether our ailments are physical, spiritual, emotional or physiological.
It is completely user friendly, gentle and non invasive, and knows exactly where to go for the recipient's greater good.
