We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and assistance to individuals in need, including those with disabilities, the elderly, and those requiring support in their daily lives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised care and support.

Salary
Hourly salary:
£13.75 p/hr (Mon-Fri)
£17.50 p/hr (Weekends)
£20.25 p/hr (Bank Holidays)
Benefits:
Paid mileage (0.45P / mile)
Paid Travel time paid between calls (@£10.42 p/h)
Pension scheme (Opt in or out)
Holiday pay

Key responsibilities

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
• Supporting clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
• Assisting with medication management and ensuring adherence to prescribed regimens.
• Conducting light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Maintaining accurate records of client progress and care provided

To be considered
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
• Previous experience in home care or assisted living settings is preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when assisting clients with mobility.
• Certification in First Aid is highly desirable.
• A valid driving licence is essential
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to care.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism
• Be able to work Monday – Friday (Rota)
• Available to work weekend (every other weekend)
• Shifts available: 07:00 – 14:00 OR 15:30 – 20:00
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Full UK Driving Licence and own motorised transportation.
