We had a lovely afternoon of music, thanks to Anne, who sang timeless tunes from ABBA and the swinging 60’s. We all decorated the dining room with posters and balloons, and even wore our pink glasses. The dining room was alive with smiles, singing, and even a little dancing .

We are now proud to show of all our certificates from the Trust in Bloom Competition.

Our win not only reflects the home's dedication to create a vibrant and welcoming environment but also highlights the trust and support it has earned from the community.

Residents and volunteers worked hard together to transform the grounds into a flourishing garden oasis, prompting well-being and connection. The judges praised the home for its creativity, sustainability, and resident involvement.

We would also like to thank, Tesco Metro, Dobbies and Toomers, in Cirencester for all their donations.

On a very breezy morning, we set off on a a much-anticipated day out - a serene barge trip along the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal, heading toward the picturesque Saul Junction. The Willow Trust welcomed us aboard with a lovely hot drink and biscuits.

As we cruised slowly along the canal, the scenery did not disappoint. We saw Moorhens, Swans and a resident even caught sight of a King fisher. A few residents even steered the boat, which was fun.

Residents reminisced about past boating holidays and shared stories of their younger days.

We enjoyed a lovely picnic on board, sandwiches, savory bites and lots of cake.

As the boat gently returned to Saul Junction, the day ended in a group photo. It was memorable trip.

To bring colour, connection, and cultural enrichment to our residents, we hosted a vibrant Cultural India Day at our nursing home.

Staff shared stories about their home life and traditions. How families often live together under one roof, with grandparents playing an active role in raising grandchildren. Tales of folklore and stories from Indian mythology and history.

Taste of India. Our lovely Chef Jerry cooked up a delight. We enjoyed Butter Chicken or Vegetarian Tikka Masala, Cumin Rice, Lasooni Palak, a range of Naan Breads and for Dessert Gulab Jamun, Gajar ka Halwa and a Mango Panna Cotta.

It was a wonderful day.

Therapy donkeys Norman and Norris paid us a special visit this afternoon, bringing smiles and laughter.

Residents loved brushing and stroking their fur.

For many of our residents, animals bring back fond memories of the past-whether it's growing up on a farm or caring for pets over the years.

We all had a wonderful afternoon.
