For the past decade, Danni has been an integral part of our care team, consistently going above and beyond to support our residents with dignity, empathy and unwavering commitment.

Over the years Danni has become more than just a colleague - Danni is a trusted friend to residents, a mentor to new staff and brings a personal touch to everything Danni does.

We were treated to an extraordinary experience as Clare from Walk with Hawks brought a stunning selection of Birds of Prey. European Kestrel, Northern Faced Owl and an Owlet, an Indian Scops Owl, only 7 weeks old.

Residents were fascinated to learn about their habitats, hunting skills and how they are trained. For many, it was their first time seeing birds up this close.

Highlights of the afternoon was when residents could wear a glove if they wished, and the birds would land on the glove.

Clare encouraged questions throughout, and residents eagerly took part, sharing stories of countryside walks, family pets and memories of spotting birds in their own gardens.

🎾 Game, Set, Summer! ☀️

Several of our Central homes across Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, along with our Extra Care Housing schemes, came together to create a fun video to kick off the summer season and celebrate the arrival of Wimbledon!

The video reflects a volley of collaboration and community across our homes—bringing people together, encouraging wellbeing, and serving joy in these shared moments.

We’re ready to go… and we’re bringing our A-game, set and match! 💪🎉

We enjoyed a lovely trip to Cotswold Wildlife park. The day began with a gentle stroll through the gardens, where residents admired the flowers and the towering trees. many sat and listened to the birds. The real stars of the day were the animals. Residents were delighted to see Giraffes, Rhino's, Lions, Leopard, Penguins and otters. We had a lovely lunch and then had a stroll to the Walled gardens where we went through the Madagascar Village, the Lemurs walked through our legs, it was amazing.

🎉 Massive congratulations to Joanne Stone, our amazing admin assistant at Paternoster House, for completing the London Marathon in 7 hours last month! 🏃‍♀️💪

Jo started running after losing her mum in 2023, using it as a way to support her mental health. She’s since raised £1,450 for two causes close to her heart — our Resident Fund and Wiltshire Search and Rescue, where her husband volunteers and her dog is in training! 🐾❤️
