Here’s what no one tells you about menopause…
It doesn’t introduce itself gently.
It slips in quietly, rearranging things without asking, and suddenly you’re wondering why you walked into a room, why you’re awake at 3am, or why your emotions are doing their own thing.
No one tells you how isolating it can feel — even though countless women are walking this same path.
No one tells you your confidence might shake a little, that your body may change unexpectedly, or that some days you might not fully recognise the person in the mirror.
No one prepares you for the hot flushes that show up at the worst moments… or the dry skin, achy joints, mood swings, and foggy thoughts that can linger longer than you’d like.
But here’s what should be said:
You’re not “losing it.”
You’re not “being silly.”
You’re not fading into the background.
You’re moving through a profound hormonal transition — and it’s absolutely okay to ask for help, to rest, and to treat yourself with tenderness.
Menopause does not lessen you.
If anything, it highlights your resilience — the deep, quiet strength that comes from evolving through every season of your life.
If you’re in the midst of it all, please be gentle with yourself.
And if no one has reminded you today…
We see your struggle and admire your strength.
