Today is hair day with my Stacey. Hoorah. A long 3 hr drive ahead, but when you have a person, you have a person 🥰 Right?
Anyway, aside from that, I woke up thinking about rules in science that we all accept, but maybe shouldn’t. For example, a widely accepted one is that caffeine wakes us up and can make us a little jittery or anxious. Right? Some people are even convinced that they need coffee to function, (and so they do).
Not me. Caffeine makes me sleepy. If I’m awake in the night, a cuppa will help me doze off. And if I have a coffee around midday, I need a 20 minute nap, because I cannot stay awake. I know I’m not alone, and it only really clicked after a brief discussion with my cousin who reacts the same way. Sometimes we are so hardwired to believe the official narrative over what is actually occurring, that it’s confusing and difficult to connect to our own body and, ultimately, our personal reality. Hmmmm.
I wonder if anyone else has any examples of their body responding in a different way than is to be expected? I’d love to hear, if that’s the case.
Good morning to you. Happy, happy new day ☀️
