When looking to lower your calorie intake for weight loss, one of the easiest ways to keep hunger at bay and maintain a balanced diet is by eating plenty of foods that are high in fibre and protein. Weight loss isn't about eating less – just making smarter choices! 🧠

A great example of making smarter choices with the same meal is our take on the classic tuna mayonnaise sandwich – saving you over 200 calories and doubling your fibre intake! 💪

For example: 💡
➡️ Swap white bread for wholemeal
➡️ Choose tuna in spring water instead of sunflower oil
➡️ Use lightest mayonnaise rather than full-fat

Onion Soup 🧅🧅

4 large onions
25g unsalted butter
4 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
500 ml beef stock
Worcestershire sauce

finely slice the onions
on a low heat with the butter, seasoning with sea salt and black pepper. Gently sweat with the lid on for 10 minutes, or until soft, stirring occasionally.
Peel and mince the garlic, tip in the sugar and cook for a further 15 minutes, or until golden and caramelised.
Stir well, add the beef stock, cover again with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes, then season to taste with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
