Dr. Phil Parker, PhD

Dr. Phil Parker, PhD Psychologist, researcher. LIGHTNING PROCESS originator.

The official page of Dr. Phil Parker, psychologist, researcher and creator of the Lightning Process (LP). In the 1990s, he was asked by his patients if could find a new way to help them as their health issues just weren’t responding to the usual treatments. His research led to the creation of the LP, a brain-mind-body approach which has since helped over 75,000 people. LP research includes 17 peer-reviewed studies, including a University of Bristol RCT concluding that the LP improved symptoms of fatigue and physical function in CFS/ME patients with no side effects. While Phil welcomes messages, individual LP queries are best directed to the LP office or your practitioner.

The Mind-Body Connection

Official site of Phil Parker, the designer of The Lightning Process seminars, and one of the UK's leading personal development experts.

“I began designing The Lightning Process over 20 years ago, when clients who had found nothing worked for them asked me if I could come up with some new ideas to relieve their suffering. As a result I developed this researched based empowering training program designed to teach individuals to find solutions to life's most common problems. It has helped people with CFS/ME, MS, addiction, depression, anxiety, low self esteem, eating disorders and many more issues and has received a lot of research interest, including a RCT with the NHS and University of Bristol. I'm sorry but I'm not always available to comment on individual messages so it's probably best to direct any specific LP queries to your practitioner. I am, however, always pleased to hear from you!”

Phil has written 4 books. He says they are all great; and if you don't like them they make for an excellent fire.
