NeuroHormone Hub Where Mind & Hormones Meet!

Integrated GP & Psychiatry Clinical and Training Hub created by twin British doctors (Menopause GP + Consultant Psychiatrist) offering a hormone-aware pathway for Neurodivergence (ADHD/AuDHD/Autism) & Hormones (Peri/Menopause)

24/03/2026

Menopause and mental health are still widely misunderstood — not just in the UK, but globally.

As a British GP, consultant physician in family medicine, and menopause specialist, I see every week how hormonal changes in midlife can affect mood, sleep, cognition, and functioning — especially in high-achieving women juggling work, family, and stress.

We need a more integrated approach to women’s health.
Hormones, mental health, and life context cannot be treated in separate boxes.

This conversation is long overdue.

When women are supported to thrive, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬.
Real change starts when we finally 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 ⚖️

As it is 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲, it’s worth remembering something simple.

💜Give women access to healthcare that actually listens.
💚 Give them hormone-informed medicine.
💛 Give them neurodivergent-aware support.
🤍 Give them workplaces that recognise ADHD/Autism, burnout, menopause and the invisible mental load.

And watch what happens.

Women don’t just survive.
They 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬.

At NeuroHormone Hub , we believe change starts with understanding the brain–hormone connection and designing care that works for women’s real lives.

🎗️𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡

Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women.

That means in an organisation of 200 employees, around 20 may be managing chronic pelvic pain, fatigue and inflammation - while still showing up.

This is not just clinical for me. It’s personal.
My own experience is one of the reasons I chose Women’s health and why NeuroHormone Hub exists.

Common symptoms include:
• Painful periods that disrupt life
• Pain during s*x
• Pelvic pain
• Pain with bowel movements
• Fatigue
• Fertility challenges

But what we don’t talk about enough:
• Brain fog
• Executive dysfunction
• Hormonal mood volatility
• The trauma of being dismissed

The recent BAFTA-winning short film 🎥’This Is Endometriosis’ brought this reality into public view but awareness alone isn’t enough.

Endometriosis isn’t “just gynaecology.”
It’s systemic. It affects cognition, work, relationships and identity.

You do not need to normalise pain.

If your symptoms have been minimised or you’re trying to untangle hormones, pain and focus ⬇️

You can’t treat the heart without the brain
🧠❤️

Most cardiovascular prevention in women starts too late.

We wait for cholesterol to rise.
We wait for blood pressure to cross a threshold.

But the biological shift begins earlier:

Perimenopause+ADHD physiology

Before abnormal tests — the body already changes:

sleep disruption 😴
autonomic instability ⚡
reduced stress resilience
glucose variability 🍬
vascular stiffness

Many women are reassured: “Everything looks normal”

Yet their neuro-hormone system is adapting to a completely new baseline.

Heart disease in women is rarely a sudden event.

It is a long adaptation phase we often mislabel as anxiety, burnout or ageing.

If February is Heart Health Month- this is the stage prevention should start.

ADHD + Perimenopause
Autism + PCOS
AuDHD + PMDD

Sound familiar?
You're not imagining it.

You've been told:
"That's normal for your age."
• "It's just stress."
"ADHD explains enough."

And yet... something still feels off.
Your energy. Your emotions. Your focus. Your cycles.
You're doing everything right, but nothing seems to be working.

This is a painful limbo.
A space where insight meets frustration, where patterns are there, but no one is mapping them, until now.......

That's where we come in.

Our unique first of its kind, integrated NeuroHormone session is for women in this exact space:
• Mapping the intersection of neurodivergence +
hormones
• Identifying what drives your overwhelm + exhaustion
• Giving you grounded clarity and actionable next steps, without unnecessary labels or complexity

Step out of limbo and get clarity at the intersection.

• To book your session, DM or email neurohormonehub@gmail.com

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤, 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐝.

Hormonal symptoms are dynamic and cyclical.
Medical systems are trained for static results.

So when blood tests look “normal”, experiences get dismissed.
When symptoms are emotional, they’re reframed as psychological.
And when women keep functioning, their struggle is underestimated.

This is the gap our NeuroHormone Hub work exists to close - integrating hormones, neurobiology, and lived patterns, not just numbers.

🔬 NeuroHormone Hub Weekend Notes 📝: The Brain Hormone Connection in Midlife

Midlife brain fog isn’t “just ageing.”

It’s your neurohormone system under strain.

🧠 𝟱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁

• Hormonal shifts affect focus, memory, and mood

• Chronic stress dysregulates cortisol

• ADHD or AuDHD traits amplify as oestrogen drops

• Sleep disruption impairs brain repair

• Blood sugar swings drain cognitive energy

💡 𝟱 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻

• Protein within an hour of waking

• Consistent sleep timing

• Strength training 2–3× weekly

• Fewer daily decisions

• Neuroplasticity Boosters — Sudoku, puzzles, learning languages, crosswords, or any novel challenge

😶‍🌫️ Cognitive change is a signal, not a failure.

👩🏻‍⚕️ 👩🏻‍⚕️ This is exactly what we explore at the NeuroHormone Hub. DM or email 📧 neurohormonehub@gmail.com to find out more.

Many women don’t have a “psychiatric problem” — they have a neurohormonal one.

Next week we’re hosting a live masterclass by NeuroHormone Hub on how hormones, ADHD/AuDHD, burnout and the female brain actually interact — and why so many women are misdiagnosed or under-treated.

We’ve opened a few more places. Link below ⬇️ to join us.
