It was a pleasure to see my 29-year-old patient again, 14 months following open with and to the face.

She was keen to refine her nose—particularly lowering the nasal bridge—and to enhance her facial contours, especially the cheeks and lips, using fat transfer to soften and feminise her overall appearance.

The has effectively enhanced her facial contours, with the added benefit of stem cells contributing to improved skin quality. The has also softened and refined the nose very effectively. There is a small amount of residual tip swelling, which is expected and likely to continue settling with time.

It was great to see my 29-year-old patient 14 months after her open with and to the face.

Her aim was to refine the nose—particularly lowering the nasal bridge and softening the overall shape—while enhancing her cheeks and lips with fat transfer to create softer, more feminine facial contours.

The fat transfer has settled beautifully, enhancing facial balance and skin quality, while the rhinoplasty has refined and softened the nose in a very natural way. There is a small amount of residual tip swelling, which is expected to continue settling over time.

We are delighted to share pre-op and 4 weeks post-op photographs of this 53-year-old patient, who has very kindly consented to her images being used. She presented with concerns about progressive skin laxity and loss of definition in her lower face and jawline over several years. Having grown up in Africa, she had experienced significant cumulative sun and UV exposure, which contributed to these changes.

She was treated with a deep plane facelift combined with fat transfer. The deep plane facelift effectively resuspended the underlying face and neck tissues, restoring fullness to the cheeks while improving definition of the jawline and neck. Fat transfer was used to further enhance facial contours, soften the overall appearance, and improve skin quality, with the regenerative properties of fat contributing to healthier-looking overlying skin.

• Initial surgery involved dorsal hump removal, which led to loss of structural support on the right bridge and nasal tip.
• Second (NHS) revision used ear cartilage but resulted in an over-projected, asymmetric tip and inadequate lower-nose support.
• Latest revision rhinoplasty used donor rib grafts to restore proper bridge and tip support.
• Tip projection, symmetry, and overall nasal proportions were improved.
• Early 2-month post-operative photos show expected swelling that will continue to settle over time.
