Let's rewind.....
March 2020...the Friday before Mothers Day.
One of the biggest days of the year for any buisness in the hospitality industry.
A weekend full of Fully booked restaurants, takeaways pre ordered, big family meals, pub lunches and cafes opening for mothers day specials.
5pm that evening, lockdown was announced. And the future for all in the industry dangled with a thread. All those fully booked restaurants closed and stock just sitting there.
Most businesses spent weeks wondering how to survive, what support they would receive, how to adapt, how to change to keep buinsesses afloat and whilst some survive we have lost so many or some that are now on the make or break line with businesses struggling 💔
And a few years down the line....some places still hanging on to hope, hope that one day things might just go back to normal 🙏.
We, at Grandma Lillys are so greatful for the support from everyone, we adapted, we changed and its been a very tough years but we have done it 🥰 and without all your lovely orders from afternoon teas to roasts or breakfasts.
We know its not always been perfect and we have made mistakes along the way, we are only human, but we have always tried our upmost best to provide you with some fresh, homemade, healthy food.
