The light and spacious home provides nursing and dementia care on a permanent and respite basis, as well as compassionate end of life care. The skilled team at Haven Lodge take pride in their person-centred approach to care, taking time to get to know each and every resident. From mealtimes to activities, everything is designed around residents’ individual preferences and needs. Relatives can enjoy the peace of mind that comes with having their loved one looked after by a concerned and caring team, whose emphasis is always on the personal dignity and independence that comes with person-centred care.

At Haven Lodge we offer a warm, friendly welcome by the sea.

Located just metres from the seafront, Haven Lodge is a welcoming care home at the end of a quiet residential cul-de-sac in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex. We provide nursing, respite and end of life care for older people, including individuals with Alzheimer's and other sorts of dementia.

Our warm, supportive approach involves really getting to know each resident and making sure they're settled and happy. We develop personal care programmes for each individual, including activities based around their interests.

Every month, we meet with residents and their families for an informal chat. It's another chance to listen to any feedback or suggestions they might have for us. We also compile a monthly newsletter, which we hand out at the meetings.
