🌿 WELCOME TO THE TEAM 🌿

Last week we announced the launch of our new Ultrasound Diagnostics Service 🥳 and now it’s time to welcome the face behind the service… Luke!

Luke is an Advanced Physiotherapist specialising in Diagnostic Ultrasound and guided injections here at Fortis 🌿

Luke holds a BSc in Physiotherapy and an MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy both from University of Hertfordshire. In 2018, he completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography at University of East London 💪

He works both in the NHS and privately. His extensive experience and expertise allows him to use ultrasound to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including the delivery of ultrasound‑guided injections 🙌

We are delighted to welcome Luke to the team and are so excited about all he has to offer!

Exciting news! We are expanding the Fortis team again this year! 🥳

Please welcome Rob! Rob is a Specialist MSK Physiotherapist & Massage Therapist here at Fortis Health & Wellbeing. 🙌

Rob has over 12 years of experience working in a variety of settings including professional football, private practice, and paediatrics 🏃‍♀️

Rob currently splits his work between Fortis and his specialist NHS role working with GPs in Primary Care.

Rob has a special interest in tendon rehab, athletic shoulder pain, and return to sport rehab ⚽️

Rob will be working every Saturday starting from Saturday 28th February! Joe & Josie have known Rob for many years and worked with him in the past and we are delighted that he is joining our team 🫶

We were delighted to welcome to Fortis yesterday for the first time! Run3D is a 3D gait analysis system developed by scientists from Oxford University and is considered the gold standard for gait and musculoskeletal assessment🥇

Using cutting-edge 3D motion capture technology, they can accurately measure your movement patterns in all three planes of motion, providing you with personalised treatment plans and performance recommendations🏃🏻

Some of you may remember we unfortunately had to cancel our last physiotherapy pop-up clinic before Christmas due to availability of the space. Well we are delighted to have been able to reschedule this and can’t wait to see you all in just a couple of weeks time! 🥳

🌿 CANCELLATIONS 🌿

When you’re missing the most important person… the patient!😅

Despite the best laid plans sometimes illness or just life get in the way! But behind every appointment is a team, a room, and time set aside just for you. Late cancellations and no-shows make it hard to offer that time to someone else who needs care which is why we have a cancellation policy. 🌿

Our policy is to charge 50% for cancellations within 24hrs and 100% for no shows. However, we understand there are circumstances where a late cancellation can’t be avoided so please always give us a call to explain and we’ll be more than happy to work with you 🫶
