The session incorporated elements of both health and wellbeing and our life skills workshop.

Service Users engaged in a practical gardening activity, where they each planted their own sunflower and decorated individual pots for planting. In addition, we explored gardening through a sensory and creative approach by designing a tray filled with edible items. These were arranged to represent a garden, encouraging both creativity and sensory engagement, before participants were able to enjoy the items as part of the activity.

As part of our Sport and Leisure workshop, we have been making the most of the outdoors—enjoying a variety of activities including bat and ball games, trying out our exercise course, and engaging in yoga ball drumming.

It’s been a great start to the sessions, the service users are really enjoying the workshop and with a variety of games and sport activities available there is something for everyone and activities can be adapted to suit all abilities.🏓⚽️

These sessions provide a calming hour where service users can relax and enjoy therapeutic sensory experiences. Each TACPAC session is combined with a short story and a tray containing items from all five scenes of the story, helping to bring it to life and create a fully engaging sensory experience📚
